Do you furnish rods, reels, and lures?
All lures will be furnished at no additional cost.
I can furnish rods and reels if needed, but I highly recommend bringing your own
if possible. There is no additional charge for the use of my rods and
reels, but I do ask that you replace any equipment if they are damaged during
your trip. Please let me know in advance if you will need to use my
equipment.
What will we do for lunch?
Lake Fork has several places to
eat on the lake, and some clients choose to take a break to eat lunch at one of these
restaurants. Others prefer to bring a sack lunch and eat on the water.
Either way is fine with me. Please note that taking a break does not cut
into our fishing time at all. We will still fish 9 hours no matter what we
do for lunch. Please just let me know in advance if you plan on bringing lunch so
I can be prepared!!!
Can you suggest a motel?
There are many places to stay on Lake Fork.
Some of the motels that my customers have had good experiences with are
The Burnin' Stump,
Mustang
Resort,
Lake Fork Marina, and
Corry's Guest House.
I also have access to a mobile home that has
3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It was built in 2001, and it is very nice.
It is less than 20 minutes north of Lake Fork near Sulphur Springs.
There are several restaurants and a Wal-Mart within 5 minutes of the
home. It has a fully furnished kitchen, washer and dryer, gas grill, picnic
table, and plenty of parking. The bedrooms include 2 queen beds
and 2 twin beds. Rates are $65 for 1-2 guests, $75 for 3-4 guests,
and $100 for 6 guests. Click on these pictures below for a look
both inside and out.

Can you handle group or corporate trips?
Absolutely. I work with many of the other top
guides on the lake, and I can make all the arrangements for you. It is
best to decide on a date as quickly as possible so that we can assure
availability of the other guides and motel accommodations (if needed).
Do you guide on any other lakes?
Yes. I also do
guided trips on Lake Monticello and Lake Welsh. These lakes are nothing
short of incredible during
November, December, and January as the fish there will spawn during these months
due to the warmer water being discharged from the power plant. Our full day trips average over
60 bass
with many in the 3 to 6 pound range. We'll also get a fish over 7 pounds
every now and then. These fish fight extra hard due to the year round
current and warm water.
Do you accept Credit Cards?
Yes. You can pay your
deposit or pay in full by credit card using PayPal. Just click on the
